Janice Fergusson serves as coordinator of the introductory financial and managerial accounting classes.  Her areas of academic interest include financial and managerial accounting, auditing, and governmental and nonprofit accounting. She received her B.A. in Business Administration from Columbia College and her Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Before joining the faculty at the University of South Carolina, she served as a full-time faculty member at Columbia College.  She had a successful career in banking for more than 25 years before pursuing a second career in academia.
