Kasie Whitener is a clinical assistant professor in entrepreneurship and strategic management. She received her PhD in organization and management from Capella University in 2014 and holds a BA in English from Clemson University and an MA in American literature from Winthrop University.

 

Whitener’s professional work includes software implementation projects in the utilities space, business process analysis in private and public sector entities, and post-acquisition training and onboarding for a global Fortune 300 company. She is the author of four books and the 2021 recipient of a South Carolina Humanities Fresh Voices honor for her leadership in various literary arts organizations.
